Primary care doctors recommend that patients make oral health a priority. We wondered why family practitioners would speak about oral health so highly. Our feature on oral health equaling overall health says it all. There is a definite link to many other processes in the body connected with how we care for our teeth. We also decided to cover the topic of baby teeth and what their real purpose is – especially since we lose them all at such a young age. Turns out, those tiny teeth do serve their due diligence, and it is important to care for them properly starting from day one. And we couldn’t resist talking about one of the best holidays of the year and how our teeth can be affected by that day – Halloween! Children love this holiday. We wondered if there was any way people can enjoy their candy without feeling too guilty and putting our teeth through too much stress. We were also lucky enough to have four featured dentists adorn our cover – Drs.
