"We believe that the diversity at Coastal Vascular & Vein Center makes our team chemistry flourish.” HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN IN BUSINESS OR BEEN WITH THE COMPANY? “We were founded in 1978.” WHAT ARE THE MOST COMMON SERVICES YOU OFFER? “We provide a variety of services that range from simple cosmetic treatment of spider veins all the way to complex arterial disease treatment. Most commonly we see patients for varicose vein treatment, venous and arterial disease, DVTs and ulcer treatment, and even in-house endovascular surgeries!” TELL US ABOUT ONE OF YOUR PATIENTS' SUCCESS STORIES. “Here is what a patient shared with us: ‘I've had two surgeries to address uncomfortable and painful varicose veins. The entire staff is always pleasant from the moment you enter the office. Dr. Hislop and the nursing staff take the time to thoroughly explain procedures, answer any questions and make you feel comfortable. All leading to a successful conclusion; no more aching, tired and painful leg. Highly recommended! P.S. It didn't hurt a bit.’” WHAT ARE YOU ALL LOOKING FORWARD TO IN 2022? “We are most excited to continue our community outreach efforts. Educating the public is something we are passionate about and look forward to in 2022.” TELL US SOMETHING NOBODY KNOWS ABOUT YOUR PRACTICE. “We have seven vascular surgeons and multiple offices through the Lowcountry area! We have two main offices in West Ashley and in North Charleston, with four satellite clinics. Our office is made up of almost 60 staff members!” COASTAL VASCULAR & VEIN CENTER Best Vascular Vein Center HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN IN BUSINESS OR BEEN WITH THE COMPANY? “I started at Coastal Vascular & Vein Center in September of 2020. This season, I’m coaching my son’s baseball team, which has been huge fun. Cycling is a passion, which these days consists of Peloton rides three to four days a week. We are also looking forward to seeing all the live music coming to Charleston.” WHY DO YOU LIKE LIVING IN THE LOWCOUNTRY? “The water is a huge draw for me. My mom was a special education teacher, and my dad was in the car battery business.” WHAT DID YOU WANT TO BE WHEN YOU WERE A KID? “As a younger child, I dreamed of being either a professional baseball player or a chef.
