We have a level 2 nursery that cares for infants from 32 weeks gestation and beyond. We also offer a variety of in-person and online independent learning, including childbirth education, infant CPR, lactation and more. We provide outpatient lactation support before, during and after delivery. For labor, we have a variety of offerings in our birthing suites, including balls, the cub chair, aromatherapy and even virtual reality, all intended to assist with creating the best birth experience for our patients.” WHAT MAKES THE TEAM SPECIAL? “Staff love what they do and it shows in the care they provide. Many of our staff members have been at East Cooper for more than 10 years. We have good collaboration between physicians and staff, as well as good teamwork. We love what we do and genuinely care about our patients and families.” HOW DO YOU REACH PATIENTS BEYOND DELIVERY? “We provide outpatient lactation and have a line where patients can call and speak to someone from the lactation team if they have questions. We make follow-up phone calls after discharge to ensure that our patients are doing well and have no questions.
